Think Ahead to Next Summer

We’ve been pretty busy since February and added a lot of delighted customers to our ever-growing list.

Now is the time for winter tidying, leaf clearance, fence maintenance, hedge trimming, pruning to control the size of shrubs and so on. We can help you with all these things in all but the very worst of weather, but please bear in mind that w are still quite busy with garden construction work

And it’s not too soon to start planning for next year. We already have a few bookings for February and even June. January will no doubt be fairly quiet as usual as we all recover from Christmas, but based past seasons, serious garden design and construction work will begin again in February and we will quickly get booked up until well into Summer. So make a start now and give us a call so we can the planning stage started. Initial consultations and quotes are free of charge so you don't have to commit to anything for a while anyway. Major garden projects can take some time to plan, design and put into practice. So why not get in before the rush.

Apart from the “arty” side to a design there is often a requirement for a degree of structural design where features such as decking, retaining walls, ponds etc are involved. Unusual or special materials and features such as sculptures and fountains may have to be sourced and priced for the quotation. Specialist services may need to be contacted for additional quotations. There may even be local authority planning issues to deal with, if for example your property is a listed building. Don’t be fooled by the rate of progress presented on TV by the likes of “Ground Force”. You’ll also need time to think about the design and cost and discuss any modifications with the designer. Typically it takes about 15 weeks from the first telephone call to completion of the project.
